Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Banking Relationship Specialist. This person will be responsible for handling bank transactions, client relations and cash processing. The Banking Relationship Specialist will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. A great candidate for this role would be comfortable dealing with multiple types of people and working under established policies and procedures.


  • Conduct bank transactions within time limits and established guidelines, while assessing customer needs and introducing new products and services
  • Manage and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds
  • Keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in a financial institution's transactions
  • Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips
  • Enter customers' transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and meet customer loyalty and satisfaction goals
  • Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
  • Make sales referrals, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
  • Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculate daily transactions
  • Resolve customers' issues and provide relevant information

Transferable Skills Needed

  • Mathematical reasoning - facility with numbers, the proven ability to calculate, post and manage figures and records, and the ability to choose the right mathematical methods to solve a problem.
