We are currently recruiting a Construction Sales Specialist to sell goods and materials to contractors, and top decision makers within the construction industry. This person will work closely with wholesalers, logistics/supply chain managers and manufacturers to ensure that the supply of orders to current job site is met and sales are completed from start to finish. 

Responsibilities

  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications
  • Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements
  • Provide update reports to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Selling building materials to contractors and managing the accounts once sold as well as developing new business through lead list and networking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Interest in construction'must have some experience with construction through past jobs, degree field, family background or self-knowledge.
  • Strong customer service or sales background
